For older children there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens, making it ideal for naps or long walks. The 5-point harness with magnets is simple to use. The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's latest product. It's designed to carry two kids side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both children can view the world around them.
Weighing just over 10kg at just over 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the tiniest strollers for siblings available. It is suitable for use from birth and can be used with a Joie car seats or carrycots. It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold, and the clever frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were amazed by how fast and easily it comes together. However, they did note that it's more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat does not fully recline and the parents had to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with some tweaks. They love that it's so compact and small when folded!

Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish, functional design. It's a premium product, but it's not without flaws.
It comes with very few amenities, both for parents and the kids. The only thing that is provided by the side bin is that it is only available when a seat in the car is connected. There aren't any parent trays, cup holders or accessory pockets, and this could be problematic for long journeys.
The seats also don't recline to a flat position and the gap between them is quite wide which is why our 5 year old was unable to lie back with ease. It's a pity given that this is a luxury vehicle.
It's simple to maneuver, and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing stairs and slopes. It's also slim enough to fit through most doorways and folds down quickly for easy storage and transport. It can also be switched back to mono mode in just three clicks, if you require more space or need to make a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third kid with the comfort wheeled boards if you're required to. It's pricey, however if you're on a budget there are alternatives out there. If you're a fan of the brand and are able to afford it, it's well worth the cost.
